2014 BMW 7 Series

The 2014 BMW 7 Series, which will show in dealerships early next year, is said to have a mid-cycle upgrade and the 2014 diesel model will presumably trail the refreshed model and appear in dealerships shortly after the 2013 7-Series.

We have heard that the 2014 model will likely carry the same 3.0-liter turbodiesel engine that is now used by the X5. This turbodiesel engine produces 265 horsepower and 425 lb-ft of torque. The name of this flagship 7-Series is rumored to be either the 735d or 740d.

All 7-Series can now be specified with a side-view camera system, Park Distance Control, two forward-facing cameras, night-vision system, a pedestrian recognition system, blind-spot warning, a heads-up display, speed-related active steering, variable air-suspension damping control, stability control, hill-start assistant, ABS, brake drying, brake-fade compensation, iDrive with larger 10.2-inch screen, instrument cluster with a high-resolution colour display, navigation, 8 GB hard drive, rear-seat DVD entertainment with integrated screens, four-zone automatic air-conditioning, multiple front and side-curtain airbags, optional rear-seat ventilation system with massage function, and other electronic gimmicks.

All the usual luxury basics are obviously also included, such as leather, power accessories, sunroof and 18-inch or larger alloys.

2014 BMW 6 Series

BMW 6 Series was redesigned in mid-2000s, its been known for its avant-garde design, dynamic driving capabilities, and a luxurious cabin interior. It definitely eclipses the "wow" factor in a luxury vehicle line-up. The 6 Series has always been available in a coupe and soft-top convertible style, highly affordable in a luxury style price range compared to other competitors. At Motor Werks BMW, we're very excited for what the 2014 BMW 6 Series has in store.

The all-new 2014 BMW 6 Series has been the subject of ongoing speculation. Information has been spilling out here and there, and from what we can gather most of the details are on the Gran Touring model in the series.

The 6 Series Gran Touring will be much lower in frame and design compared to the other Touring models. It will resemble more of the Coupe-like essence, with a shallow glasshouse at the rear, producing super sleek angles.

2014 BMW 5-Series

2014 5-Series will bear. Thanks to our crack rendering team, we have a our rendering of the 2014 5-Series. We hope it gives you a clearer look at what we all expect to see when Bimmer unveils it.

The most significant changes will be made up front, as it will feature new air intakes on the front bumper, a new headlight design and a grille that sits more upright. As you can see, we have also included headlights that go all the way to the grille — a feature first seen on the 3-Series and that we expected to make its way over to the 5-Series lineup.

Most of the changes will be limited to the exterior, but there will be one under-hood change. This change will be the elimination of the N55 engine in the 535i and the addition of a new turbocharged in-line six-cylinder.

2014 BMW 4-Series

BMW 4-Series Coupe ever since the company unveiled the concept version at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. Today, however, our spy photographers managed to catch the car during a break in testing.

As you can see, next to it there was an Audi A5 Coupe, meaning that BMW likely wanted to see how the coupe version of the 4-Series would stack up to its key competitor.

When compared to the 3-Series sedan version, the upcoming 4-Series will be a few inches longer and will feature a more aggressive front end that will transform the coupe into a very sporty model. Still, you should expect the same three-dimensional BMW double kidney grille and the headlamps we have seen in the new generation 3-Series sedan.

Under the hood, BMW will place the latest four- and six-cylinder engines, including a new 240-horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine.

2014 BMW 3 Series

2014 BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo. BMW unveiled the new five door just ahead of the machine's debut at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, complete with a raft of photos. US buyers will be able to get their hands on both 328i and 335i incarnations of the hatchback beginning this summer. Despite its proportions, the Gran Turismo is a whopping 7.9 inches longer than the 3 Series Sport Wagon and a full 3.2 inches taller. The GT also throws in 4.3 inches of extra wheelbase compared to the wagon, which translates into 2.3 inches of extra rear legroom.

Of course, the liftback design also means there's 18.3 cubic feet of cargo area out back, which bests the wagon by one cube. Designers integrated the company's first active spoiler to improve aerodynamics, and an M Sport package (seen here) helps give the machine a more purposeful look. As with its four-door siblings, the 328i Gran Turismo benefits from a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 240 horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque. Meanwhile, 335i buyers can look forward to finding a 300 horsepower 3.0-liter, turbocharged inline six cylinder engine with 300 lb-ft of torque.

2014 BMW 2-series

The 2-series moniker will allow BMW to jack up the price and to play a bit more with the styling. But, this won’t be much more than a heavily face-lifted version of the current 1-series coupe and convertible. There might be more differentiation in the future; after 2016, the 1-series hatchback likely will move to a front-wheel-drive platform shared with Mini. And, by the way, there will be an M2 as well, with a wider track and body. Oh, and 2-series is reminiscent of the legendary 2002.

The 2-series will use BMW's compact rear-wheel-drive platform, shared with the 1-series and similar to what underpins the 3-series. It will be an update of the current 1-series platform. No all-wheel-drive version is planned. BMW will add many connectivity and assistance systems not currently offered in the 1-series.

The heart of the engine lineup for the 2-series will consist of four-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines, all of them turbocharged. For European markets, BMW’s range of three-cylinder engines is possible. There will be two levels of the high-powered, turbocharged inline-six. One of them will drive the upcoming M235i, an M Performance model producing around 320 hp. On top of that, there will be the high-performance M2, churning out around 360 hp. With most engines, BMW will offer a six-speed manual and an eight-speed torque-converter automatic; the M235i and the M2 could be offered with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic instead.

2014 BMW 1-Series GT

Bringing you our own rendering of the future Bimmer 1-Series Gran Turismo, which is set to hit the market in 2014.

As previously reported, the 1-Series GT was previewed by the Concept Active Hybrid and this is where our rendering began. We spiced it up a little by adding some extra goodies to it, including: a chrome-outlined front grille, lower-grille-mounted fog lamps and gloss-black side-view mirror stalks. In another words we made it cooler – well, at least we think it is.

For those of you who do not know just yet, the 1-Series GT will be built on BMW’s new UKL platform and will be offered with a choice of three engines: a standard 3-cylinder engine, a 4-cylinder petrol engine and a 3-cylinder hybrid powertrain that will combined a 1.5-liter petrol engine driving the front wheels with an electric motor for the rear axle.

The new 1-Series GT will make its official debut in the summer of 2013 with sales to beginning later in 2014.

2014 BMW 1-Series

BMW planning to fit some small-segment vehicles with the FWD system. Starting 2014, the Germans will reveal the 1 Series GT, a model adopting a front-wheel drive system. Later on, BMW might introduce the new traction system to other variants of the 1 Series range such as the Coupe and Convertible models.

For gasoline engines in the 114i uses the new power that is fitted with a 102PS 1.6-liter turbo four-cylinder, to produce a model 116i with 136PS 1.6-liter with mounted turbocharged inline-four, with the 125i produces 218PS is fitted with 2, 0-liter turbocharged four and for the M135i with mounted machine models powered by the turbocharged 3.0-liter straight six 315hp engine which can also produce results up to 320PS and 450Nm at 5.800RPM (332 lb-ft) from 1,300 up to 4.500RPM. speeds from 0-62mph can spend about 5.1 seconds with the engine mounted on the transmission 6-speed manual gearbox and 4.9 seconds from the M135i for 8-speed automatic transmission with optional paddle shift gear is integrated in the steering wheel, in both versions may issue a maximum power of up to 250km / h (155mph).

2013 BMW Hamann M5 F10

BMW F10M M5 was created through collaboration between Hamann, ADV.1, By Design and Wheels Boutique and the results speak for themselves.German tuner Hamann introduces its own rendition of the BMW M5 F10. The new package prepared by Hamann makes the M5 even more performing and lavish, modifying its interior and exterior design and giving its powertrain some more horsepower to play with.

Hamann’s technician worked on the aerodynamics of the car as well, enhancing it with such bits as the re-designed front bumper and the wider front fenders, which gain 25 mm on both sides of the car. The wheel arches of the rear axle have been broadened too, making for an extra 30 mm on both sides, while a new rear wing allows for more stability.

Ride height has been reduced by 30 mm, while the suspension set-up has been arranged to improve handling as well as the dynamic behavior of the car. The already impressive original powertrain receives a new ECU and a new exhaust system as well as a few more modifications which are yet to be made public. Hamann is actually still working on the mechanics of the M5, but they said they have already been able to squeeze out an extra 158 hp and 220 Nm. In order to cope with its increased power, brakes and wheels have been enhanced too: the BMW M5 F10 by Hamann rolls on 21″ alloy wheels fitted with 265/30 tyres at the front and 325/25 at the rear.

2014 BMW M3 F30

BMW presented the regular versions of its new 3 sedan, codenamed F30, with the M Sport Package models giving us a taste of what to expect from the golden-boy of the series.On the outside, the M3 will gain a more aggressive though somewhat understated look though several unique styling cues.

These include the beefed up wheel arches that house larger alloy wheels and brake sets, prominent side skirts, a different front bumper with enlarged air vents, a reworked rear bumper incorporating a diffuser and M's traditional quad tail pipes plus a very discrete boot spoiler.

The power dome on the hood, however, may be a thing of the past as it is absent from all prototypes of the M3 sedan that we've seen up until now.

BMW is keeping its cards close to its chest when it comes to the new M3's powertrain, but most reports tend to agree that the fifth generation will introduce a new 3.0-liter inline-six with either two or perhaps even three turbochargers generating somewhere around 450-ponies.

A 6-gear manual or an optional seven-speed dual clutch transmission will transfer all those horses to the rear axle.

Autocar reports the 8-Series--or whatever it's called--will arrive sometime in 2012, though BMW probably can't say now exactly when. However, given this company's usual new-model launch timing, we'd expect the 8-Series to be at U.S. dealers by spring or summer of 2012.

The only thing we've seen on this score comes from Car and Driver, which expects base prices in the "high-$70K to low-$80K range." We think that's a little low for a new flagship BMW. Considering 2010-model V8-powered 7-Series sedans run $82,000-$88,900, we'd guesstimate the 8-Series will start at $88,000-$92,000, depending on standard equipment.

2013 BMW 760Li

BMW built its first automotive V-12 and stuffed it inside the 750iL; today, the Bavarians are celebrating 25 years of 12-cylinder power with the 2013 760Li V-12 25 Years Anniversary Edition. This special-edition 7-series doesn’t get any performance upgrades to its 535-hp, 6.0-liter twin-turbo V-12, but it is ultra-exclusive and ultra-expensive.

Champagne Full Merino complimented by black piping and piano-black wood trim that make the Anniversary 760 special; it’s not the “V-12 25 Years Edition” badges on the doorsills, the headrests, and the iDrive controller; nor are the unique 20-inch wheels the car’s selling point. What makes this 7er special is that just 15 will be made, and only seven will be brought to the U.S. at a price of $159,695—$20k more than your average 760Li.

2013 BMW 335i

2013 BMW 335i in Estoril Blue II with us today. The sedan has been fitted with a number of upgrades such as the BMW M Performance kidney grills, iND painted bumper reflectors, 3M Gloss black mirror covers and 3M Gloss black rear diffuser/reflectors.

2013 BMW 3 Series is a compact entry-level luxury�vehicle offered in sedan, coupe, and convertible (hardtop) trim levels. All trims are available as a base 328i that utilizes a standard 2.0-liter 4-cylinder twin-turbo charged engine that produces 240 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Sedan, coupe, and convertible trims offer an optional 335i trim powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 300 hp (convertible trim also offers a 335is trim that yields 320 hp.)

An additional engine offered is an optional 3.0-liter twin turbo V6 diesel engine (335d) that produces 265 hp and 425 lb-ft of torque. 2013 BMW 3-series

The 3-series will grow slightly, more so in wheelbase than in overall length. While its front-engine, rear-wheel-drive architecture remains similar to the current model’s, the powertrain package comes in for a big overhaul.

The four-door sedan is in essence a downsized 5-series, longer, sleeker and more homogenous than the model it supersedes, with none of the polarizing cutlines, flame surfaces, and quirky details. The coupe is not just a two-door sedan with a lower roofline but boasts bespoke sheet metal from nose to tail, featuring more sculptured flanks, a more steeply raked windshield and rear window, a sportier front section and a totally remodelled rear end. To enhance the passive safety performance, BMW has opted for prominent B-posts and thus for fixed rear side windows.

Contrary to earlier plans, the convertible is now likely to retain the controversial retractable hardtop, which is particularly popular in North America and China. There is a slim chance that we might see a 3-series Speedster with a manual fabric roof and a lowered windshield. If that does happen, this car would be engineered and marketed by the M division.

Turbocharged, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engines take the place of the naturally aspirated inline-six; the N55 engine, a single-turbo inline-six, will be the top powerplant for the regular models. Above that, Kay Segler’s M division takes over: We expect the next M3 to be powered by a twin-turbocharged inline-six instead of the current model’s thirsty 4.0-liter V-8.

Europeans will have a choice of four- and six-cylinder diesel engines; the turbocharged, 3.0-liter inline-six diesel could be offered stateside as well. And there will likely be a gasoline hybrid for the U.S. market.

Power will be channeled to the wheels through a six-speed manual or a ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic. All-wheel drive remains an option.

2014 BMW M4 Coupe

BMW 3-Series has been altered significantly this past year, with the announcement of a new name for the coupe and convertible versions of the luxury car. From now on, these two variants will be sold under the 4-Series nomenclature, meaning that the M version will be sold as the M4.

We’ve only been able to see some spy shots of the 4-Series Coupe , but that doesn’t mean that we can’t put pen to paper to conjure up the look of the future M4 Coupe. For this we’ve taken BMW’s usual M-design elements like the front bumper, LED headlights, a wide track, and different side air intakes and added it to the 4-Series images.

What won’t be easily visible in this image is what’s found under the hood. The new BMW M4 will be dropping the usual V8 engine used in the M3 models and will replace it with a twin-turbocharged inline-six engine with an output of about 450 HP. This will allow the M4 to be both more powerful and more fuel efficient than that the M3.

Expect to see the new BMW M4 a few months after the 4-Series coupe set to be launched in 2013.

2013 BMW 5-Series

2013 BMW 5-Series sport sedans continues to charm--in part, because it drives in a way that isn't at all compromised. These stylish mid-size models put the focus on fuel-efficient performance, advanced high-tech features, and the nuance of the driving experience, yet they offer a reasonably practical and comfortable (and in the case of the 2013 BMW 5-Series Gran Turismo, a very practical and comfortable) package that could make good family sense.

The 528i, as with the six-cylinder 535i and the V-8 550i, is offered with either rear- or all-wheel drive (xDrive). In 535i models, the 3.0-liter turbocharged six makes 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft, while a new twin-turbocharged V-8 in the 550i makes 445 hp and 480 lb-ft. If you don't mind a slightly more agricultural four-cylinder sound in place of the sonorous six, the base 528i does the job well, too—and much more frugally—while feeling considerably stronger in most situations compared to the base, naturally aspirated six that had previously been used in the 528i.

These sport sedans are loaded with sensors and electronic systems, yet BMW has managed to tune the steering to feel quite natural, and the 5-Series feels nimble and lighter than it is on a tight, curvy road. All of the 5-Series models get BMW's Driving Dynamics Control, which helps the 5-Series fit your need, whether that's taking on a canyon road or bringing the kids to school. This year BMW has added Eco Pro to the existing Comfort, Normal, Sport, and Sport+ settings. The system affects throttle response, steering assist, and transmission shift points, as well as the performance of the active suspension systems, so you can truly dial in a particular performance attitude--including Sport+, which is configured especially for track-driving enthusiasts.

5-Series are superb, backseat space remains one of the few weaknesses. Just at the back of the front seats there's a hard-plastic pocket that can push up against knees, and there's simply not much usable legroom given the size of the cabin as a whole. BMW 5-Series GranTurismo models have a completely different seating arrangement, and they're the exception. With a slightly elevated backseat, lots more legroom, and plenty of headroom (and a great view out), carrying adult passengers is one of the GT's strengths.
